1990 Ford Festiva no spark

We have a festiva that's not getting any spark. We had to put a new(used) motor in about 3 weeks ago and have done a oil change and a tune up(new plugs and wires) and replace the d. Cap and coil and the ignition mod. We drove it till Friday and we thought it ran out of gas and now no spark.we Have checked the fuses.
Please help. Thank you

we dont know my hubby isnt use to this 1.3 L hes a chevy guy

ok, did you confirm your not getting spark at the end of the plug wire with a spark tester of some sort, or just saying no spark because its not starting?

If you are getting spark then I would take a fuel pressure reading. A new fuel filter may fix a low fuel pressure issue in this car. If you are not getting spark or injector pulse then I would maybe suspect a bad crank position sensor (which is located inside the distributor, which may mean the distributor needs replacing). Also be sure timing belt is not broken or jumped time.

it cranks over but doesn't fire up. my hubby is going to pull out is voltage metor tonight and test it.

We have tested the connection to the coil and its getting the proper amount of juice we also tested the fuel pump at first nothing so he pulled it out and tested it straight to the battery an it works so we are lose. He wonder if it could be a relay of some kind? Where do you think we should start.we Also tested the fuses. Thank you very much

Have you tested to see if you are getting spark at the end of the plug wire (to the plug)? Rent a fuel pressure gauge from a parts store and check fuel pressure.
