Alright, I have a 1990 Ford F250 diesel (7.3, non-tilt steering wheel, two brand new Costco batteries) . And my problem is, is when I go to start the truck, when the key is in the "run" position, no dash lights come on. So then, in order to get the wts (wait to start) light to display I have to hold the key borderline between the on and start key positions, then I can hear the fuel pump working, wts goes out, relays click, and I start it up just fine. But here comes the real problem. Once I let go of the key and it returns to the run position, it dies instantly. If I hold the key borderline between run and start after it's been started, it stays running just fine. Any help would be very much appreciated. And the only thing I'm onto, would be that one of the cables going from the battery to starter isnt hooked up the right way, causing the engine to be cut off from the battery. Not too sure though. -Alex
