Where is the neutral safety switch location on a F150 pickup Auto 1990?

Will not start with key, but if turn key on and jump seloid It starts. I think it is the neutral safety switch. Is it on the steering column? or on the transmission ?

The neutral safety switch is on the transmission.Do you have a multimeter or test light to do some testing?
