timing? if everything checks out

1990 Ford Crown Victoria,5.0 TFI. After replacing valvecover gaskets, the pvc valve was left unplugged. The car drove 4 miles and hasn't started since. We've checked EVERYTHING, and can't seem to get the car to start. What are the chances the car is somehow way out of timing? no codes, getting fuel, spark, compression, all good. I think my next move is to attempt to advance/retard the timing (distributor) while trying to start the car.

The PCV has nothing to do with the timing. It would have created nothing more than a vacuum leak. Double check the spark (is it a hot blue snapping spark?) Recheck fuel pump pressure (is it within spec)? Check to make sure the injectors are getting power using a noid light. If you have good spark, good fuel pressure, the injectors are working, good compression, and didn't touch the timing (assuming it was fine before this happened)the engine has no choice but to run. See if it will start with starting fluid. If it does, it is a fuel related problem. If it doesn't, recheck the fuel system.
