1990 Dodge Dakota Truck surges and often dies.

The truck surges, the engine races, then the truck dies. We have replaced the o2 sensor, fuel filter, distributor cap and spark plugs, and several hoses and nothing has fixed the problem. What else could be the problem?

try cleaning the throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner then if it still does it checkfuel pressure with a gauge autoparts rent it.
