1990 chrysler new yorker brakes

is anybody on this website an expert on these brakes. it is not your normal change the pads deal. this was a two year experiment by chrysler. nothing like any so called expert in the area has ever seen. the antilock brakes are pulsating constantly and the brakes wont stop. no one, and i mean ,know one has any clue about this particular problem. i have repaired many brakes in my life, and have never seen anything like this. somebody please help. i need a real mopar expert, not a backyard greasemonkey like myself.

You don't have anything all that complicated. the problem is that it's a primitive system and it's not electronically compatible with most scan tools. What you have sounds like one of the wheel speed sensors reading inaccurately when coming to a stop which makes the ABS computer think that the wheel is locking up. All you need is someone that has compatible equipment that is able to read the codes and sensor data from the ABS system.

thanks, i will look into that today. will the sensor also make it act funny even with the car just sittin still. it was in the garage all summer while the client was up north. the pedal is pulsating continuosly while being pressed.

No, the truck would have to be moving. You may have a defective ABS module
