If the speedometer still works that leaves out the speed sensor. There is a small plastic gear in the instrument cluster that breaks. Haven't been able to find a source for one. You'll have to visit a salvage yard and take one apart for the gear.

Thanks for the info caradiodoc. Took unit apart and found blue gear missing two teeth. Will be ordering a gear from odometergears.com or speedometergears.com tomorrow for about 25.00. Rather easy fix once you get into it. Thanks.

Dandy information. Everything I read in the past suggested no one had found a source for parts. Happy to hear you don't have get false teeth from your dentist!

Hi. Odometer not working. Pulled gauge cluster
Removed speedo.. removed blue white gear. Replaced blue gear. Odometer still not working. Replaced speed sensor and output sensor and input sensor. Still no luck. Think no signal to odometer motor is the issue. Help??

You need to start a new question specific to your car, and please list the engine size, and if the transmission is a three or four-speed. If you're missing a speed sensor signal, the transmission will stay in limp mode, (four-speed), and the speedometer will stay on "0".
