Timing won't andvance

Changed out pick-up, reinstalled dist, brought it to tdc, unplugged time wire, etc. Timing will not advance. Changed out knock sensor, tested module several times on different testers, no help.

The ignition timing is done automatically by the computer-did you disconnect the EST wire when you are checking the base timing-
