error code 2-3-2

Hi,

my 89 Volvo 240 GLT keeps giving error code 2-3-2, "fuel system compensating for rich or lean mixture at idle," according to the manual. The idling is affected, sometimes up to 1500 RPM. What are the possible causes of this problem, and how may they be fixed? It's a B 230F EFI engine. Any leads would be appreciated. Thanks!

More than likely on this vehicle you have a fuel pressure issue or even o2 sensor issues.

If both of these check out then unfortunately we are going to have to run through all this testing for this specific code.
