how bad a leak? low coolant can cause heater not to function. after radiator change, check heater hoses at firewall for hot. if 1 is cold/cool you probably have a plugged core. backflushing may fix it. if both hot problem is inside with control system. if your truck has heater hose control valve check that too for open.
