I have a 1989 Accura Legend (big box type sedan) as I was running it today (approx 3 miles or so) the temp needle shot all the way to hot and had to blast my heater to cool it down (no bubbling in the reservoir) but white vapor smoke coming from radiator.
I don't have much money so I wanted to bleed the radiator (can I take the cap off to flush it with water from the top?) and find out where they drain plug is (driver or passenger side). Also will replace radiator cap......after doing all this what would be my next step in fixing the overheating?
Please Advise,
Gary P.
