done the check as above 12 code engine low idle give it rev it cuts out i replaced the fuel pump still on change

But, if the specified code means the engine idle is too low, it needs to be bumped up. I'm going to guess that your vehicle is fuel injected. On the air intake, you will find the throttle body. It can be identified by the throttle cable. You will find a small screw that opens the throttle butterfly. Turn that screw slowly, until the RPM reaches the desired speed.

Not quite correct with the this one, there is a special procedure required to do base idle settings, i must be hooked up to TECH 1 the GMH diagnostic reader to do any base idle re set.
