Not sure what controls this function

A/C is working fine but will not automatically switch over to recirculate (max cool) on warmest day like it is suppose to.

Check actuator remove glove box see diagram find air inlet actuator turn AC to MAX actuator should close door

They don't AUTOMATICALLY switch. You have a button to request that.

Seems like actuator is working fine. Unfortunately my climate control panel does not have a max a/c switch. The owners manual says it switches to max (recirculate inside air)automatically when necessary.Any other ideas?
