How do I replace the ignition switch on this vehicle?

I have to verify, do you want to replace the tumbler, the part that the key goes in?

Or do you want to replace the switch, the thing that the tumbler activates?

People get the two mixed up.

Underneath column, large male side of wire cluster is plugged into switch mounted on side of column by two bolts. Unplug and remove two nuts. Carefully "shimmy" ignition switch from the long ignition rod that moves the switch that is actuated when you turn your key. Reinstall new switch same way. Careful not to let rod remove itself from key switch. Once yer heads underneath it is easily to visualize this explanation.

Watch out, that rod is breakable, so as said carefully shimmy it, if you have to put some graphite spray on it to lube it up. Any little bit helps.

The battery is fine, and I hooked another car to it and there was no juice going to my truck at all. I changed the ignition switch and nothing changed. Are there any main fuses that could cause this problem or would I need to buy a new steering column?

Check items in picture either the relay on fender or the fusible link has burnt up. It should have 12 volts both sides on link.
