Cooling issue

My camaro has a good water pump and radiator and we took the thermostat out why would the top rubber radiator hose bulge around the thermostat housing and build so much pressure

You cannot run that engine without a thermostat. It's very important to the computer controls. If the hose is bulging, it's just a bad hose and needs to be replaced.

The only thing that the car uses the computer for is the electric fuel pump everything else has been bypassed and redone its an old school 350 and they dont need a thermostat to run
