After taking bad starter off of my car,and getting a refurbished one reinstalled on the car.I went to start my car and the starter wouldn't crank over to start my car.My battery is brand new.I would appreciate any advice, thank you.

I need you to check if you are getting power to the starter. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. There should be 12v when the key is in the start position.

Let me know what you find.
