Drive belt tensioner

REMOVE OR DISCONNECT

1. Drain cooling system.
2. Serpentine belt.
3. Rear power steering pump pencil bracket.
4. Heater hose pipe and 0-ring from coolant pump.
5. Power steering pump retaining bolts and position aside.
6. Generator retaining bolts at tensioner.
7. Ground wire, from tensioner mounting bolt.
8. Tensioner mounting bolts and tensioner.

INSTALL OR CONNECT

1. Tensioner and tensioner mount bolts.

TIGHTEN

* Bolts to 50 Nm (37 lb. ft.).

2. Ground wire to tensioner mounting bolt.
3. Generator retaining bolt at tensioner.
4. Power steering pump and retaining bolts.

TIGHTEN

* Bolts to 29 Nm (21 lb. ft.).

5. Heater pipe and 0-ring to coolant pump.
6. Rear power steering pump pencil bracket.
7. Serpentine belt.
8. Fill cooling system.

Is it absolutly necessary to drain cooling system, remove heater hose pipe and o rings from coolant pump. Just to make sure are you saying you don't need to remove the P.S. Pump Pulley.

I would look and see if you can get to the bolt's and get it out with undoing the hose.If you can't then yes you would have to do those step's.As far as the power steering goes you just unbolt the mounting bolt's and move the power steering pump aside.
