Exactly what parts do you have to remove when replacing a drive belt tensioner on a 1989 buick century(Limited) 3.3 engine. Do you have to take off the power steering pump pulley? If so, what tool is needed?

Is it absolutly necessary to drain cooling system, remove heater hose pipe and o rings from coolant pump. Just to make sure are you saying you don't need to remove the P.S. Pump Pulley.

I would look and see if you can get to the bolt's and get it out with undoing the hose.If you can't then yes you would have to do those step's.As far as the power steering goes you just unbolt the mounting bolt's and move the power steering pump aside.
