1989 Acura Legend 6 cyl, two wheel drive Automatic 300k miles. What does the light mean and what should I do to find out why it is on.

It stands for programmable fuel injection, precursor to check engine light. Your vehicle is OBDI which makes it difficult for most current technicians to diagnose because your vehicle cannot be simply scanned. you need to go to a shop or dealer that is familiar with your car and obd1. Call before you go.
