1988 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Engine Flooding

I have a 1988 Delta 88 and the car floods out every time I try and start it. I notice because I get a high smell of gas. I check all my gas lines and no leaks. I pulled out one of the spark plugs and it was wet with gas. How can I fix this problem? Thank you in advance
