Repair

there is a metal clip at the base of the crank. it takes a special tool to remove this clip although there is an old trick that does work usually. just take a rag / cloth and slide it down into the crack between door panel and base of crank then slide the rag back and forth (like flossing teeth) and the rag should catch the clip and spring it out. then the crank will pull right off..don't lose the clip though.
