1988 Mercedes Benz 560sel transmission

Run engine and select through all gears and hold for a few sec before selecting next gear, start in park, go through to low and then back to park, with engine running remove trans dip stick and clean, insert and remove check level, correct level cold should be at lower edge of safe on stick, that is between low and full.
