Engine cranks but does not start

Car cranks but will not start unless starter fluid is sprayed. I changed the fuel pump that still did not work. The car has a viper alarm, and it had a toggle switch I removed.

Hello,

Since you are able to start it with starter fluid the issue is the engine is not getting fuel. Have you got a chance to test the fuel pressure?
If the pump is turning on and you do not have any pressure it could be due to a clog in the fuel line, restricted fuel filter or a bad fuel pressure regulator.
