1988 Jeep YJ vacuum problems?

I just got done replacing the power train in my 1988 Jeep Wrangler It is a 4 cylinder 2.5L TBI set up. The list of new parts is a complete long block with all new internals including the head, water pump, alternator, fuel injector, fuel pump, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, royal purple engine break in oil. After driving for less then 50 miles on the new motor it started to bog down at load. When I give it gas off the line it goes until about 2000 rpm then it starts to bog down like its not getting fuel or air. I replaced the new fuel filter with another new filter to make sure that wasn't it. So now I'm thinking it may have something to do with EGR or map not sure hoping someone can help. Hope I've listed everything you need to know to help sorry if I missed something. Thx

The odometer said 80.000 but I cant be sure because I was not the original owner. The engine had cracked valves and 2 dead cylinders. 0 compression in the #1 and very low on #3. I decided to replace the engine rather then try to fix the old one.

If an engine was driven in that condition for any period of time it could clog up the catalytic converter and that could be your issue. You can do a pressure check at the 0/2 sensor hole.

the converter has been removed this jeep is for off road use only ;)

there isn't a Schrader on my fuel line. Is there another way to check line pressure?

Many engines don't have service ports. Most fuel pressure gauges come with an assortment of adapters for this purpose.
