From gas pedal to throttle body / carburetor, from cruise control servo to throttle body / carburetor, or from the throttle body / carburetor to the transmission? What is the symptom or problem?

from gas pedal to carb just cant figure out how to adjust on bracket

Older ones had one nut that held the small right angle bracket that held the cable. You loosened the nut, slid the cable back to take up the slack, then tightened the nut.
By '93, (the closest service manual I have), they were using a cable that snapped in on both ends and there was no adjustment possible. If you have that type and the cable has too much slack, something is bent.
