need a diagram of the heater controls on the firewall and its function with temp control.I have put a new switch and vacuum tubes also a new water valve in the hot water line but still control the temp. the ac seems to work but only in the max position. can you help me with this ? thanks ted Vincent.

You'll find multiple diagrams in the manufacturer's service manual. The hoses are molded into a plastic connector at the switch end and they are color-coded to show where each one goes on the other ends. There are different versions with different car models and options.

If you can't find a dozen service manuals on eBay you can also go to one of the pick-your-own-parts salvage yards and find a similar car to look at. Do a search for "Pull-A-Part" and see if there's a yard near you.
