gas gauge

have a 88 buick regal. after install of new wiper motor at dealer, dash electrical doesnt work right . . . turn on head light and the gas gauge goes to empty, trun anything on and the gas gauge goes to empty. why?

I would be taking this car back to the dealership. It sounds like they might have messed up some of the wiring. It sounds a lot like a ground problem, but it's hard to tell by your description.

They probably pinched a wire, during install. But I would have them fix it on their dime.
