My 88' Acura legend has difficulty starting, the engine will turn over but will not crank unless with the help of starting fluid or numerous attempts at starting. Once running though the car stays cranked and will drive with no problems other than being sluggish, but turn the car off and your back at square one! I was told that this is probably the fuel pump and I was hoping to get some insight before spending the money to replace it! Thank you for your time and advice!

IF YOU...OR ANY OF "YOURS" ARE MECHANICAL

MY BRO-N-LAW GOT ONE OFF OF EBAY WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY FOR HIS TAHOE....IT WAS AROUND $65

THIS WAS NOT A REAL HARD TASK (ON THE TAHOE, ANYWAY)

BEFORE YOU GET TOO CARRIED AWAY......CHECK YOUR FUEL PRESSURE WITH A GAUGE!

WHAT' YOUR TAKE ON ALL OF THIS?

YOUR TURN

After a lot of online research, I found that the problem occurring with my car is very common amongst late 80's early 90's Honda and acuras. Turns out it was the main relay and was a very simple and inexpensive repair that i was able to perform by myself within 20 minutes!
