I just had my timing belt, water pump, alternator, power steering, compredsor belt changed at dealership fo my 1988 acura integra with 116000 miles....and now its stuttering threatening to stall....but doesnt stall...when pull over and let it idle for 1 secong it recharges and runs fine for another 6 miles....the car does not shake, make any strange noises, leak, smoke nor lose power ( like ac isnt affrcted)...the dealership states there is nothing wrong with timing....but now they found leaking.spark plug seal....and want to change those seals, rotor, and wires...but wires and distributor are new (aftermarket but new)...plus they cant guarantee that this will fix the issue....the car ran beautifully before this, i was driving it 120 miles round trip with no issues....just wanted to do reg maintenance....what should i do...it seems thete gonna hav to trial an ertor on car till its fixed or should i just take to friend to try and get it fixed....any idea what could cause this.

take it back to them and tell them to make it run the same way it did before your requested services. be firm with them and go to the service director if you have too. be persistent and they will deliver. otherwise, go to above there heads with your issue as they have a csr score and it will be effected if you are not satisfied.

if it ran good before you took it to them, then it should be returned to you the same way. did you have any problems before going there?? if not, you need to be aggressive with them to fix it correctly. go see the manager, director and owner if needed to get your point across to them. it sounds like there answer is not acceptable to you and i agree.
