Its on the exhaust manifold

I think Ras thought you said Oxygen sensor.
The speed sensor is mounted in the top of the transmission.

Wrench, Just pull this from alldata-its says this:Disconnect battery ground cable.
Remove instrument cluster assembly.
Remove screw attaching V.S.S. pickup to rear of speedometer head.
Remove screw attaching V.S.S. to instrument cluster.
Disconnect printed circuit connector from V.S.S.
Remove V.S.S.
Reverse procedure to install.

Note: I dunno which way is up on this-Mit1 says this: Vehicle Speed Sensor
Automatic Transaxle At rear of engine, on right end of transaxle

I dunno. Alldata also refers to a speedo cable and a PM speed signal generator but it shows it in the same location as the VSS. Manual trans is in the trans also.
