How many cylinders is my car and how do I find out if it is a 2.3 or 2.3-16 or 2.6

1987 model it says on the paper work when I bought the car.
I have looked everywhere under the bonet on the side of the doors and it does not say if it is a 2.3, 2.3-16 or 2.6. I wanted to buy some spare parts but need to find out what the sub model is. Are you able to help.

Hello Again I did find the Engine number and VIN number. My engine number is 102962 22 046924.
