I have a 1987 Jeep Comanche Pioneer, 4.0 6cyl., 5 speed man, 4X4. I have replaced the following parts: fuel pump, map sensor, fuel regulator, TPS sensor, mat sensor, cam sensor, crank sensor, electronic igniter, all relays, ,ECM. It will start and idle, but if you accelerate it dies. Any ideas?

It might be time to stop throwing parts at it and doing some diagnostic testing. I would start with the fuel pressure.

I think I have sufficient pressure because I replaced the fuel pump and added a second booster pump after the fuel filter.

No wonder you're having problems. What is the current fuel pressure?

I don't know, I don't have a gauge, but I replaced the regulator today. The booster pump is a 60 psi max, 31psi at idle.

I'm sorry. that's not the way we work. The vehicle requires a specific fuel pressure.
