Whne I start my truck it runs a little rough and when I press on the gas pedal it dies what would cause this?

I have checked all the fuel pumps, the filter, fuel pressure regulator and they are all working but the minute I press on the gas it dies. If I hold the gas pedal down it starts to back fire really bad.

Check for a vacuum leak and make sure the catalytic converter isn't plugged.

I checked for vacuum leaks and didnt find any and my truck doesnt have a catalytic converter it was removed cause it was plugged also I have an oil substance coming from my exhaust at the tail pipe and where the exhaust connects to the muffler.

That is most likely condensation mixing with carbon in the exhaust. Not a concern

Well I am at my wits end with this truck I checked everything on it yesterday and still nothing. For some reason when i give it gas it just dies.

It sounds like a throttle position sensor or a major vacuum leak. Check vacuum at the intake. It should be around 17.
