how do i change the ICM on my 87 ramcharger.... the 1 i got from auto zone is completely different from the 1 on my truck? The 1 on my truck is much larger & has many more wires ... the 1 that I got from auto zone said it would fit my truck, but it doesn't

well u think they would know what they were talking about i looked at it online & it said that was the right 1

Also what size enginedo you have?Go to www.rockauto.com they have pics of the parts see if they match your icm.Let me know what you find.

Heres a true story for you my friend has a 1986 mitsubushi galant he had a way to small battery in it.It was listed for the wrong battery at pep boys auto zone kragen/oriellys etc.So they guy behind the counter only knows what his screen tells him most of the time.So go to that website and see if they show a correct pic of your part and you can use that part number to get the correct part.Let me know what you find.
