I Removed The Wires From My Ignition Coil And I Tested The Two Wires With Ignition Switch Off And I Got A Bright Light With My Led Test Light, But When I Tested The Wires With The Ignition Switch On The On Position I Only Received A Very Dim Light. Is This The Way It Is Suppose To Do ?

I Am Trying To Find Out If The Ignition Switch Is Supplying Current To The Coil, Since The Coil Does Not Spark When The Coil Wire Is Disconnected From The Distributor Cap And This End Is Placed Beside The Block.

You can easily use a test light to determine if you have power at the coil but DO NOT use the negative terminal as a ground for the test light. Use the battery or the engine block. We've already been round and round with this car. Please stop opening new questions for the same problem.

It Sure Seems To me Like You Are Tired of Hearing From Me. You Always Say That No Matter What I try To Do To Try And Find problem With This Truck It Will Blow Up My Computer It I Ever Try To Check Anything. I Can Tell You This If The Computer Will Blow Up That Easy, It Was Never Any Good To Start With, So Let It Blow Up. And Another Thing I Am Not So Sure That You Are The Pro That You Boost To Be, I Really Don't Believe That You Would Even Qualify As A Shade tree Mechanic.
