1987 Chevrolet Camaro Different plug readings

I have a 87 chevy camaro 350 5.7 liter stroked out to a 383. The motor is carburated and the question i have is im trying to tune the motor to get it to run the best it can. when trying different jet sizes i run the car and check the plugs from cylinders 1 and 2. cylinder 1 seems to be running good a little brownish tan on the plug. Cylinder 2 seems to be running very rich, smells like fuel and is very black. Just wondering what would make me have different plug reading throughout my motor???

It sounds like the fuel isn't all burning and causing that cylinder to run rich. The carb has no control as to how much fuel gets to each cylinder. Check both cylinders for spark. Are they both getting a hot, blue, snapping spark? Also, is compression the same in each?

I did a compression test before and had 130 to 150 psi in all cylinders. I will check the spark in cylinder 2 Tomarrow to make sure it is a nice got blue spark.

Let me know what you find. Also, when checking compression, usually one doesn't want more than a 10% variance between cylinders. That can cause a slight misfire.

Just checked the plugs while turning over the motor. Spark looks good to me. More orange than blue but looks like a pretty good ball when it fires.
