funny our manual says it'son the steering column. if there is a hole in lock turn to acc the put paer clip in it and move key and lock shold come out tehn take escutcheoon off an dremove switch. for the burnt iwre wil be alot easier pulling theradio out and just putting it in that way instead of pulling dash. we have no instructions on how to pull dash in our manual
