1986 Jaguar XJS brake lights

I am assuming you have already checked the bulb and replaced it. check the gree/purple wire to see if yo uhave power going to it when brake is applied. there is a brake failure sensor so it may not be going through that. also check fuse 5 although I dont' think that is the problem. the sensor is under dash
