My engine is a straight six cylinder. It lost power and truck would not stay cranked so I replaced the carburetor and the problem still existed. so I pulled my distributor and found the shear pin gone. I put a pin in it and it still will not crank and I have set the time marks on TDC. can anyone tell me if it matters where the button is when the shear pin is installed? Please help!
