car stalls at idle and has a check engine light?

1985 Oldsmobile 98 regency V6 mileage: 144,600. My car has fuel injection. I have replaced the EGR valve and air filter, the check engine light came on just before the car stalled while I was driving. Now it stalls at a idle.

This sounds like a vacuum leak, please follow these two guides but only check for a vacuum leak when the engine is cold.
