I recently went to TN and got my dad's Keep Cherokee Pioneer. He bought it, was shortly thereafter diagnosed with cancer and had passed. My stepmother is ill and asked if I would like it, but with the warning it hadn't been driven in 10 years. I arranged for the vehicle to be picked up and taken to a shop and had all the usual things done: tires, belts, hoses, brake pads, lug bolts and nuts, fluids, etc etc
The car drives well, doesn't get great gas mileage but for someone that lives over 8500 ft up in Colorado is a wonderful thing to have around.
Big problem I have is the heating/ac fan isn't working and the turn signals don't work but the flashers do. I am thinking both problems are fuses. The car does use modern fuses but I cannot find the fuse box. I called a nearby dealer and was told check inside drivers side down by the pedals on the sidewall. No fuse box. Watched a video on YouTube, seemed to indicate it was in the engine compartment but nothing where it showed in the video, and getting down there would require taking half the engine apart almost, do you guys know where the fuse box is in this vehicle? Thanks so much!
