big jeep problem

85 jeep cj7....drives great in 2wd but when u put it in 4wd the front wheels spin the opposit of the front...is there a reverse pinion in that year jeep. Or any suggestions??

Do we have a REAL JEEP (CJ 7) or do we have a Cherokee???

Have you modified anything, prior to this problem?

Last time you used 4X4, did it work correctly?

Explain in greater detail, what each of the front wheels do when engaged in 4X4....both pull same direction but opposite of rear wheels...one does not turn, but the other does

Do you have modifications other than stock?

The more info, the better!!!!

So what you are saying that the front wheels are trying to turn back wards as if in reverse???? or are you looking at this in 4X4 on jacks? you say the front wheel spins opposite of the front??? this does not make sence...
