Having brake problems with my 85 ford thunderbird. Changed them out and brake pedal is spongy. Bled them and still spongy.

WERE YOU 100% CONFIDENT INSTALLING THE BRAKES?

PRIMARY SHOE AND SECONDARY SHOES IN THE CORRECT POSITIONS?

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO CORRECTLY BLEED THE BRAKES?

DO YOU KNOW HOW TO CORRECTLY ADJUST YOUR REAR DRUM BRAKES?

BEFORE I SUGGEST A NEW MASTER CYLINDER,

LET'S SEE IF MAYBE I CAN HELP YOU WITH THE EZ STUFF 1ST

YOUR TURN, PLEASE ANSWER SO THAT I MIGHT KNOW WHICH DIRECTION TO APPROACH THIS.

If there's no leak anywhere and brake shoes are adjusted properly and continue to be spongy or sinks in-check the brake master cylinder could be leaking internally not holding pressure thru seals/cups
