I replaced the acculator on my 4 wheel drive and also replaced the vacumn line. Now the truck will not go out of 4 wheel drive. The only way I can get the truck to go out of 4 wheel drive is to take the vacumn hose off. Could the vacumn lines be hooked up wrong?

These are all different, so bear with me. If you follow the vacuum supply back to the transfer case, does it go through a switch?

That's the switch I was thinking of. Check to see if it is working. They corrode inside and freeze up. As a result, this type of thing happens or the 4wd doesn't work at all.

Glad to help. However, check it before you get a new one to make sure it is the problem.

Let me know how things go for you.
