Friend of mine bought this car, asked me to help him get it running, it has been sitting for at least a year.
When I turn the key the fuel pump does not prime, but when I jumper the relay it fires right up.
I also have no spark, I have tried to check for signal from the ECM to the distributor, but I am getting nothing. I relly need to hear this engine run before he starts putting a bunch of monry in it. Is there a way to make the coil fire without ECM signal?

When I turn the key the fuel pump does not prime,Could be the computer control of the fuel pump relay-

but when I jumper the relay it fires right up, Which one is firing up the fuel pump or the engine-bcuz if there's no spark-it won't fire up

No snapping blue spark continue to troubleshoot the ignition system-power input to the coil/coil packs, coil's resistances, distributor pick-up coil, ignition control module, cam and crank sensors and computer Note: If it doesn't apply disregard it
