car hasn't started in thirteen years, what should i do or check besides change out the old gas before i start it/

change every fluid in the car without exception.
drop gas tank, flush it out and replace the fuel pump. flush the lines up to the ijectors and hope they still work.
change the battery.
replace all the tires

Check the timming also if its chain and it sat for 13 years i wouldnnt be shocked if it was gone
