I started the car and heard a loud pop under the hood then the sound of air which stopped after the car was in drive. Now however, the sound is all the time no matter what gear it is in. Could this be a vaccum hose?

OPEN YOUR HOOD, DISCONNECT THE BRAKE BOOSTER VACUUM LINE AND CAP/ PLUG THE LINE---CRANK HIM UP

DID THE HISSING STOP INSIDE?

IF SO, YOU NEED A NEW BRAKE BOOSTER

IF NOT---DIG INTO THE DASH!
