im needing to know here the hoses of the power booster brake run threw

im needing a diagram of the hoses of the power brake booster where they run to in a 1984 chevy chevette.also when the car is on it turns off sounds like air is escaping from a hose.

the line for the booster goes to the intake manifold. look for a broken line to one of the ports for your noise.

thank you also i got the timing belt changed and got it put back in time but before the timing belt broke off the brakes were at the bottom now when i stop the brakes are at the top does that have to do with the power booster brake cause it got changed out one time 4yrs ago.i was thinking that air was escaping from the carburetor cause the car does stay on with out giving it gas and holding on the brake when its in drive

it sounds like it definitely has a major vacuum leak. get it checked to confirm.
