I have an 83 cutlass my husband did an oil change on it and now there is no oil in the oil pan or on the dipstick. what could be the problem

Before the oil change, did you have any problems like this?
Check these items'
The drain plug is tightened to specification
Check for damage to the pan,
Check oil filter for leaks
To get an accurate oil level, the car must be on a flat surface. You should also wait about 15 minutes for all the oil to run down into the pan.
