How do I get the 1983 733i started after it started and ran a few minutes until I shut it down but would not restart a few hrs later. Car had not bee started for a few months but turned over and started after about 10 seconds. The car has an high idle condition that surges after the engine is warmed. The car cranks fine but will not fire up. Checked fuel lines at fuel rail on both ends and fuel was flowing at a high rate. Removed and cleaned plugs but still no start. Replaced plugs and still no start. Also checked fuse for fuel pumps and it was ok.
