driving along, hell of a rattle, started to miss fire. stopped motor, rolled to a stop. trailer home. tried to start running on 3/4 cylinders. I think its the timing chain have I bent vales etc

Better pull the rocker covers off and see if the chain is intact and do a comp test at the same time, post what you find for further assistance.
